California Fencing Academy (CFA)

Since 1986, the California Fencing Academy (CFA) has been a premier fencing club in the Bay Area and Silicon Valley, providing world-class fencing instruction to thousands of fencers. CFA is a foil-focused fencing club offering programs for all skill levels, from complete beginners to elite, world-class athletes.
Our dedicated team of CFA Coaches has developed a long history of success, producing numerous elite fencers in all three weapons: foil, epee, and saber. Many of our athletes have achieved outstanding accomplishments, including National Champions, National Championship teams, Junior Olympic Champions, and Team Finalists. We are proud of our fencers who have represented the United States on the world stage, earning spots on the US World Team.
 Our athletes have been accepted into prestigious universities across the country.
CFA is committed to nurturing the potential of every fencer, from their very first lesson to the highest levels of competition.

A Brief Explanation of the CFA Programs

The California Fencing Academy offers multi-level comprehensive programs in three main categories which are recreational, developmental and team programs. CFA allows each student to progress through all the levels whether they want to compete or not by offering group classes and private lessons.
